Oklahoma has for a long time been interrelated with Bingo. This is due to the fact that the American Indian bands of Oklahoma have provided Bingo games for many years. Guests from every one of the nearby states load up in vans and travel into Oklahoma to gamble on Bingo on the weekends.
The 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act became law after a benchmark ruling by The U.S. Supreme Court just the year prior. From that time, 23 of the 39 American Indian bands of Oklahoma have established bingo halls.
